Birmingham
Forest Schools Birmingham was founded in 2004 in response to the increasing demand from schools for quality Outdoor Learning, Forest Schools provision and innovative Schools Grounds Design in an urban environment.
We passionately believe that "all children in Birmingham should have access to the outdoors." Our mission is to "work with all Birmingham schools to facilitate quality, innovative, Outdoor Learning and Forest Schools as part of daily teaching practice".
Forest Schools Birmingham deliver Forest Schools and Outdoor Learning programs throughout Birmingham and the West Midlands in a variety of settings including schools at all key stages, private, community, and extended provision. We have extensive experience in the Special Needs sector. Our Natural Playgounds team complete our holistic service by helping schools to design their grounds for maximum learning potential.
All our practitioners are qualified in Forest School delivery and are trained to work in the outdoors with a wide range of people to the very highest in safety standards. Our backgrounds are varied; from qualified teachers to experienced woodland managers, all with one thing in common...a passion for connecting people with nature... while having tremendous fun!
